The Nuuksio area is mostly famous for its unique landscape; hilly, woodland terrain with many small lakes and ponds. From spring to autumn the pathways and surrounding areas have a unique richness to it with rare plants and fauna. The area has many marked trails, camping sites and fire places for rest and rejuvenation.

Our company: Magic of Nuuksio Ltd, has its facilities in the very heart of Nuuksio. We organize guided tours as well programs for recreational activities, private occasions and client events. We offer programs for all ages and also for disabled people with special needs.

The poems on these pages are from the Kalevala, which is the national epic of Finland compiled by Elias Lönnrot from Finnish and Karelian oral folklore and mythology. The first version of The Kalevala was published in 1835.
